I have to say this is one of my favourite trends from Spring/Summer 2020. The come back of shirts in all forms is so exciting ! We are thinking shirt dresses, shirts with baggy sleeves, loose fit and shirts in whites, blues and solid colours.

I think we are not to shy away from men’s shirts this season. Men’s shirts are structured and long so you have more room with how you style it. Add some chunky jewellery and accessorise with contrast shoes and bag to make a statement. In this post i will show you how you can rock men’s shirts in 6 ways!
I stole my husband’s shirt for this look. I love the vertical pinstripes as they create a slimming illusion. For my first look i simply tied the shirt into a knot at the bottom and left the top few buttons open and the collar back.. Simple but effective.

For my second look i went a bit more as my mother would say -careless and put one side of the shirt tucked in and the other out. This is a super easy and effortless way to carry your man’s shirt.
For the next look i tucked in one side of the sleeve into the shirt and then secured it into my jeans.
The next look is when you make the shirt an off-shoulder and tie the sleeves in the front to make a bow and secure the shirt in place. Tip: start buttoning up from the bottom and make your way up until you feel the shirt is secure on your chest.
This is another version of an off shoulder top. Just button from the bottom till the shirt is secure on your chest and tie the sleeves in a bow at the back . ©Photos by Pooja
My final look is a little tribute to solid colours, another great trend from spring / summer 2020. This could be your office look if you are feeling a bit bold with the your choice of colour. Sure to turn heads.
This is one of those slim fit shirts from Moss Bros that i bought for my husband as a joke because he loves Red. I think he only wore it once under a suit to indulge me but its safe to say I am claiming this one now! This look involves tucking the shirt in and that’s that.
You will note that all looks go really well with chunky chain jewellery which is another must have this year. But you could also use finer chains with pendants on.
That’s all from me today, hope to see you back here soon.
