Autumn is officially here, and truly, is there anything better than spending a day surrounded by pumpkins, golden leaves and food? 🎃 And here I was on a sunny Saturday at Europe’s largest Pumpkin Festival!
We recently visited Tulleys Pumpkin Festival in West Sussex, and it was such a lovely way to get into the autumn spirit. There were pumpkin fields to explore, seasonal displays to photograph, food stalls to discover and plenty of things to see along the way.

If you’re planning an autumn day out in the UK, I’ve put together everything you need to know, including ticket prices, pumpkin picking, food options and a few useful tips before you go.

Exploring the pumpkin fields
The pumpkin fields are one of the main reasons to visit, and they’re full of pumpkins in different shapes and sizes. You can wander around, find your favourites and pick some to take home. Wheelbarrows are available to help carry your pumpkins, which is handy if you get a little carried away!
Pumpkins cost from £1 to £25, depending on their size, so remember to budget for these separately from your admission ticket.
It’s also worth thinking about whether you want pumpkins for carving, decorating or cooking before choosing yours.
I really loved these cute novelty pumpkins in various sizes as that would look so pretty by my door!

One of the new additions for 2026 is Pumpkin Valley, with giant pumpkin sculptures, ponds and more themed scenery to explore.

If you love taking photographs, you’ll find plenty of opportunities throughout the festival. I always think these seasonal displays are part of the fun, especially when you want a few lovely autumn pictures to remember the day. There’s more to explore too, including the observation wheel, vintage carousel and live entertainment.

Food and drink at Tulleys
All that exploring is bound to make you hungry! Thankfully, there are plenty of food and drink options to choose from, including wood-fired pizza, hot dogs, doughnuts, mini Dutch pancakes, coffee and other street food.
I’d definitely leave some time for a little food break during your visit. Prices vary between stalls, so it’s worth checking the menus when you arrive. Remember to factor in food and drinks alongside your tickets, pumpkins and any extra attractions.
I would say one thing you do need to try here are the iced drinks in a branded pumpkin and you get to take the pumpkin home! Most drinks here were £12.

Few extra activities
There is an observation wheel and a carousel as well which comes at an extra cost but is totally worth it!

Our thoughts: Is Tulleys Pumpkin Festival worth visiting?
If you love autumn as much as I do, Tulleys Pumpkin Festival is a lovely seasonal day out to consider. Between the pumpkin fields, themed displays, food stalls and entertainment, there’s plenty to explore.
It’s a great option for families, but couples and friends can enjoy it too. Just remember that your final spend will depend on how many pumpkins you buy and which extras you choose.
