With the pandemic arriving into our lives, 2020 has been everything we did not imagine. Not that I am complaining, I mean this time has been incredible and the pause in the everyday busy routine has be so refreshing. I have seen so many of you, myself included, taking the leap and finally doing the things we wanted to do which we never had the time or the creative energy to do.
Having said that I just wanted to share this nice little garden party we had over the summer. I know summer is over, but this post was lost in my drafts for a long long time , thought it was good time to share it.
So on this little garden party we had individual sheets for each of us so we could socially distance and safely enjoy the company. Of Course this meant that it was a pretty photo opportunity for me and my guests.
Style Notes
So this clearly has to be my favorite buy of the summer. I really wanted a nice pleated dress and this Dorothy Perkins Sage Dobby Dress is just that. I give it 10/10 for getting the colour right. I styled this with a silver belt from another dress i had. So i would say don’t be afraid to mix and match.
I could have gone with some silver heels with this to match the dress but i ended up with my go to Dorothy Perkins nude court shoes. I do like mixing silver and gold together (break the rules a little) so i accessorised with gold accessories from H&M

After Party (Pun intended)
After the party we went for a walk in the nearby woods. Before you ask, yes i carried my heels with me and i had flats on for the walk. We stopped for pictures in between.

Make up was bare minimum , except i went sparkly with the eyes this time.
And here i am reading my book in the evening and prosecco replaced the tea! I have to say i did enjoy having the sunlight till late over summer, gave us so much time to get stuff done. But with open arms we must welcome coat and sweater weather and hope that this will pass us all by quickly.
How have you been spending all this time in lockdown?
