With Autumn hitting us and the unusual September heat wave in the UK coming to an end. It’s time to transition into Autumn with our boots and fall coats. If you haven’t already go check out my last post about the 6 must have coats for Autumn/ Winter 2020.
Besides stilettos, boots have to be my favourite shoes type because they simply elevate your look. Be it ankle boots or knee high each has its own significance and in 2020 nothing is going to be left behind. So here are the 5 biggest boot trends out there for 2020. You would want to save this for later because some of these boots are staples and every girl must have a pair!
WHITE BOOTS
White boots have made such an impact this year. You have to have a pair otherwise your Autumn/ winter wardrobe is incomplete. With so many neutral outfits doing the rounds heeled white boots are a must have. I have to say these are my favourite out of all of them.
I found the perfect pair of white boots to my surprise at Nasty Gal. This was my first time shopping from them and the sizing / fit of the boot is perfect. I would totally recommend them for shoes.
If you are looking for a slightly smaller heel Checkout these really nice white boots available at Zara at the moment. They look so well made and I love that they have a seamless transition from stilettos to stretch boots.
CHUNKY BOOTS
Chelsea boots are literally the biggest trend since last season. We are still looking to wear them all through winter and why not? They are super comfy, keep you warm and most importantly they make you look like you got the edgey vibe all figured out!
Schuh have such a great collection of Chelsea boots at the moment and these Dr Martens are particularly a hot favorite. Schuh also have a lot of offers from time to time and the SALE section is worth a look.
There is something special about a pair of DR Martens and they are so durable and absolutely Prefect for the British weather!
Knee HIGH boots
Think riding boots with upgrades. Again we are looking at chunky heels and platforms. Comfort is key here and we are giving the basic riding boot a bit more of a modern/ edgey feel. And we are not just dressing it up with jeans but also with poplin dresses and even blazer outfits.
If you are looking to make a statement wear these Dune gold boots with a full black or white outfit for major Star vibes. However, if you want to blend in, stay away from these because you are sure to stand out in these.
Kitten heels
Don’t shy away from these babies this year. This understated style is expected to be seen everywhere this season. Again the focus is on comfort but this style is elegant and polished in its own right.
Combat Kicks
This is not a drill! The cool combat boots are ready for action! No surprise that these have made a home in our closet for the last few years! I love the shoelace element on it, so badass!
I bought these in the debenhams blue cross sale last year but i have linked a similar pair in the picture description.
So which ones are your favorite and have you got all five?
