Spring is here and I thought I would bring to you a post with a fabulous trend report on spring wardrobe staples that will help you achieve that elevated look without spending the big bucks on those spring outfits you love! These pieces are perfect for your capsule wardrobe.
I am writing about staples because the goal is to maximise our wardrobe without buying every single trend out there. And lucky for us these spring staples are very much in fashion right now. So I have narrowed down an edit of core staples you need, some of them you already might own.

Leather skirts are so perfect to transition from winter to spring and are a perfect addition to your capsule wardrobe. You don’t even have to go for real leather there are so many great Vegan options available. And be it high-end designer options or your high street heroes you have tons of options these days.

The holy grail of all jumpers is a striped jumper. Be it spring, autumn or winter a striped jumper is your best friend. This is the one Jumper style that has always been a classic in terms of French style for generations but has recently picked up quite the rage thanks to Instagram!

A nice pair of jeans is all we need. I know it’s hard to find a good one but dispair not, stonewash jeans is a classic that is always going to be a style staple. Stonewashed jeans are jeans treated to give a worn and faded look and I absolutely love the way they look don’t you?

Ok I am going slightly off track here but hear me out. A little bit of colour doesn’t hurt anyone and this spring it might be well worth adding a few classic colours to your capsule wardrobe in terms of colourful suits. And while a single colour suit is trending right now, its never a bad idea to mix and match your colours. For instance, I love to wear these acid green trousers every spring, I would usually pair them with whites but I love how the powder blue blazer really elevates the look.
While these may not be the classic colours they look fantastic and will work for me. however this season you can invest in classic colours like Royal blue, red or powder blue or emerald green.
