Hello and welcome back to my blog, I’m so grateful you stuck around. Growing up I watched Carrie Bradshaw and her girlfriends go through life in New York in awe. As an Indian girl living in a remote town in India, I was dreaming of my own Mr Big, having gone through the Jacks and the Aidens. In 1998 when the show first aired I must have been about 12, the time when cheese was cool!
S e x and The City in my day was the show to watch. In the era of Hindi TV serials which to this day majorly have in-laws drama, SATC was a refreshing change.
So when i saw this trend going around where you dress up as characters of a show i couldn’t help but try it with SATC. I also had another one in mind but that one I will save for later. So here are my SATC inspired outfits for you.
Carrie Bradshaw
For the iconic tulle skirt look that Carrie often goes with I went with my forever new white dress from one of my previous posts and teamed it with a beautiful satin cowl neck top from Lola skye at Dorothy Perkins. Of Course it needed a matching bag! Special mention to my Russian friend for this Ecco bag which is gift from her.

Miranda Hobbes
Say hello to Miranda, our very own workaholic mama. I had to steal my husband’s blazer from Moss bros for this look because none of my blazers look this professional. I did pull the sleeves up to give that scrunched effect in the sleeves. I have this fitted skirt that goes well with the look and I paired it with a white halter top from Zara

Samantha Jones
I mean samantha and animal prints are the same thing aren’t they? I got this dress for my beach holiday this year and thought it went perfectly with Samantha’s vibe of course i have paired it with red shoes and a bag to show Samantha’s vibrant personality.
