If you’re planning a trip to the Maldives and considering SAii Lagoon Maldives, Curio Collection by Hilton, you’ve probably come across their All-Inclusive and Premium All-Inclusive packages. We recently stayed at the Hard Rock Maldives resort and tested out everything from the pools and beaches to food, drinks, and even the fine print of the meal plans.
Here’s my honest take on what to expect, who it’s perfect for, and whether it compares well to other all-inclusive resorts like Siyam World or LUX South Ari*
First Impressions: Gorgeous, Breezy & Laid-back
SAii Lagoon is all about boho-luxury charm. Think driftwood textures, airy ocean-view spaces, and playful, beach-inspired design. The decor is relaxed but refined, perfect for barefoot luxury vibes.
The resort is connected to The Marina at Crossroads, so you get access to 14 dining venues across SAii, Hard Rock Hotel Maldives, and the Marina. Great for variety!
The turquoise ocean here is beautiful and calm, ideal for swimming, lounging, or a romantic beach walk.

Pools & Beaches
There’s one main pool at SAii Lagoon with loungers and a poolside bar. It’s not the biggest in the Maldives, but it’s perfect for lazy afternoons.
The beaches are wide and sandy, with plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas. The lagoon-style water is crystal clear, making it ideal for a dip even if you don’t snorkel.

So, Is SAii Lagoon Maldives Worth It?
Final Verdict
Go for All-Inclusive at SAii Lagoon if:
- You want ease and comfort—meals and drinks are covered across many venues.
- You like the flexibility of dining across three locations (SAii, Hard Rock, Crossroads).
- You enjoy cocktails by the pool and don’t want to track every charge.
- You’ll use the 25% off spa treatments and à la carte options.
Upgrade to Premium AI ($299++) if:
- You plan to drink premium spirits and wine daily.
- You want more freedom with cocktails, minibar, and restaurant credits.
- You like perks like a floating breakfast or afternoon tea.
Skip it if you’re into activities:
- This is not the best resort for snorkelling, diving, or water sports. Nothing is included.
- For similar prices, resorts like Siyam World, OZEN, or LUX* include free excursions, dives, and experiences, making them better for adventure seekers.
Final Thoughts about SAii Lagoon Maldives
SAii Lagoon is stylish, laid-back, and ideal if you want to chill, dine, sip, and relax. If you’re looking for a Maldives-lite experience, easy transfers, variety of restaurants and a Hilton connection then it’s a solid choice. Just don’t expect lots of included experiences like jet skis or dolphin cruises unless you’re ready to pay extra.
