Hello and welcome back to the blog. Haven’t we all had a cancelled holiday or two this year? It totally sucks but let the fact not keep you looking and feeling like you are on a holiday. I mean it’s been hotter than Ibiza in the UK this past few weeks and to be honest, I am enjoying the slightly cooler temperature that’s come back to us!
2020 was supposed to be the year I was to go back to the Swiss alps with the fam and then a dreamy vacay in Greece hopping islands and maybe even hit turkey on a day trip. Everything was booked but had to be cancelled everyone knows why. I was so gutted!
It made me want to utilise my holiday season merchandise any chance I got. In fact, I have enjoyed dressing up in lock down, makes a great change from sweatshirts and Joggers all day!
So here I am with my little list of recommendations of holiday style outfits that make you look like you are on a holiday, are you ready?
Safari look
You don’t have to be on a safari to pull off this look! Just grab a pair of paperbag shorts add a bit of colour with your top . You can wear it as is or get in there with a hat and throw on a white shirt. You can go all neutral too but that’s for another post.

Wrap dress
Girls who wear wrap dresses have all the fun! Literally! I don’t know when I stopped wearing them but I remember all through high school I had these 4 different wrap dresses and skirts that I used to live in! Can anyone ever say no to a wrap dress? A silhouette that accentuates your best and hides the rest.
You can style a wrap dress 3-4 ways depending on how much skin you want to show. I promise to do a post on that later. There is something to be said about this gorgeous animal print dress from AX Paris. The fabric is my favourite – satin, and this one’s got some sleeves!

Pleated Dress
Pleated fabrics have been so popular since last year. We have seen so many high street brands doing them as skirts up until last year but they have transitioned into dresses this year which is a great way to get some texture and bounce to your outfit. This lovely dress is from Dorothy Perkins. Easily one of my favourite purchases this summer.

Fruity Prints
Meet my gorgeous friend, who is sporting this ever-so-feminine fruity printed dress from H&M. Totally gives the Italian vineyard vibes here. The dress is a Linen blend, such a lovely and cool fabric for the summer. Olga also wears some really nice long earrings to match the lemon print on the dress. She also sported a nice tan tote bag from Zara to complete the look I will link it below.

Here are some more details about the tote. It is called the RIGID TOTE BAG from Zara. I love the Inner bag with gathered drawstring closure, it gives some serious Celine Paris vibes.
So how are you dressing up this summer? 🙂
