Don’t we all love a bit of Blair? The ultimate organiser and mean girl but always so well put together! It’s her character that you love to hate but also somehow look to for trend setting fashion. Her style is classy and polished. If you you look through all the costumes she wore on the show there is literally none in jeans or trousers!
So i concluded that if you want to dress like Blair Waldorf say goodbye to your Jeans!
With the return of Headbands, girly dresses and 90’s style Blair Waldorf’s iconic looks are back in fashion. If like me you don’t own a lot of designer clothes, you can find similar looking outfits in ready to wear. Lot of brands work with certain styles that are usually a good dupe for what the top fashion houses are doing. Remember there is always an option out there that suits your pocket. However if you have the resources go for the original. Here are a few tips on how to recreate Blair Waldorf’s style this year.
Look one: Girly
Blair is the queen of girly dresses (expensive girly dresses) Here is a look that is so simple to achieve. Just find an A line dress which is Blair’s go to silhouette and add a few accessories.
The boucle fabric of this dress has major Chanel Vibes. Add a blazer, a designer bag and some heels and you are good to go.
Blair is all about cute, girly dresses. Here are a few options available on the high street which scream Blair Waldorf
Look Two: Back to School
Blair always rocked the back to school look and i am not just talking about the uniform but also combining certain elements to make it look like a school uniform. So here is my second look which is also my favourite.
But first let’s look at some key style aesthetics that Blair loves to wear –
Shirts with tie up bows, headbands and skirts with tights are classic Blair Waldorf.
Bair also has a strong like for printed skirts. I have paired a river island white shirt with my Oasis printed skirt and a miss selfridge blazer to create this look. I am using a random fabric belt as a bow to create that signature Blair look, however you can go with a ribbon if you like.
The bag here is from Fiorelli which is my go to for this blazer.
I will link everything and similar items on my 21 buttons page which is the “Shop my looks” section on your top right.
Here are some options available in your local high street that just are Blair!
Thinking of blazers here are some great options. Need to start saving for this Boucle Reiss jacket !!
Last but not the least to complete the look you must wear a Headband.
Hope I have inspired you to bring out the classy Blair in you and more than anything don’t leave the attitude behind !
