One sale after another you gravitate towards so many pieces you want to buy from so many brands it is getting ridiculous! And then when you actually go shopping it’s so easy to get distracted by something completely different and coming home with something you didn’t know you needed. The struggle is real!
So to make it simple i have teamed up with some of my fellow Instagrammers and come up with this list of some of the coolest ready to wear pieces we need right now! I love to shop and if there is one thing i have been training myself to do lately is making a wishlist and then deciding what i really want so i don’t get carried away. I love to follow trends but you will never see me mindlessly following something that is in fashion but doesn’t suit me. So i have curated this list of carefully selected pieces for myself and you (if you like)
1. H&M Puff Sleeve Dress
I have said it before and i will say it again, you totally need this black puff sleeve dress! Doesn’t matter if you are short , tall , curvy, petite or slim. This dress adapts! It is so versatile you can dress it up or dress it down to make it casual.
You can also have this dress in this beautiful shade of Cerise pink. If I could I would have them both!
2. Zara Crop Top With Organza
Organza is this season’s must have fabric to give that drama to your outfit. As a designer, i know it is so hard to work with but the sculpting one can achieve with this fabric is a whole new level of beautiful. I see so many bloggers and instagrammers using organza in their wardrobe at the moment and i think everyone will agree it is a trend to embrace
This season you will find a lot of brands are playing with organza on the sleeves. Which is fabulous because it adds that element of surprise in your outfit.
I love what zara has done with their touch of organza in their recent collection and would say this is sage top is everything! if you can you should get your hands on it.
Another fantastic option available on zara’s website is this gorgeous organza top. The sleeves almost look like brown wrapping paper but it works! The mix of Knit and organza is pure genius!
3. Zara Halter Body Suit
As finely demonstrated here by Nicole from Ms_pinkshoes zara’s halter bodysuit is something we all need. One thing i can’t make up my mind about is which colour? they are all so beautiful but this white bodysuit is my favourite. It will make a great piece for a capsule wardrobe too. one of the most basic happy clothing item that goes with everything!
Nicole has teamed it up beautifully with these high waisted trousers from Zara , which goes to show you can easily dress this bodysuit up. 10/10 from me!
4. Stradivarius Heeled Sandals With Padded Braid Detail
Jessica from galonduty does it right with these Stradivarius Sandals which is everyone’s favourite right now! They come in a few colours but like Jessica, i would also go for tan because that goes with everything.
I love how she teams up basics to make it look so chic. The blazer is another fantastic piece to add to your list , the more the merrier!
5. Puff-Sleeved Cotton Dress
Rachel from rachelmargaritaa shows us how to wear this super cute puff sleeved cotton dress and do it right! This is such a beautiful and effortless summer look. One could totally rock this on holiday. Speaking of holiday, Rachel is taking us on tour in Italy at the moment which is also one of my fav countries to visit!
6. A Round Straw Bag
If there is one bag we all need, Lara from Misslaranne shows us which one. She teams it up beautifully with this white ASOS dress giving us holiday dreams, even though we can’t go on one right now!
Marks and Spencers have a few fantastic options of these straw bags but the one i love is this Straw Circle Cross Body Bag
I mean , check out the inside? It is always about the finer details isn’t it ?
7. Dune Loupe Slider Sandals
Lara also tempts us with these gorgeous slip on sandals a great alternative to the Hermes slip ons. They are also on sale at the moment which is a bonus.
8. Paperbag shorts
Can i just say i am so glad that the trend of tight fitted hot pants is gone and Paperbag shorts in all shapes and sizes are welcome! I mean if you told me 15 years ago that the bermuda shorts i wear at home will be a fashion statement of the future i would have laughed at you. But here we are and 2020 has made it cool again!
These H&M shorts are super comfy and so practical. I love the paperbag style because it is so forgiving. So easy to hide a bit to bloating or mom belly and they come in so many colours a total steal for the summer.
9. T-Shirt With Shoulder Pads
If you ignore my awkward posing and pay attention to this basic t shirt you will see how not so basic they are. These t shirts with shoulder pads are on everyone’s list right now and rightly so.
I haven’t got my hands on all of them but i am on the hunt for a black and tan one as well because well, they are fantastic and so comfy.
The one i am wearing is from In the style but every retailer from Zara to Mango is doing one, so get your hands on one if you haven’t.
I love this knit version from Mango
I think each of these pieces are so versatile that you can totally wear them long term. Hope you have enjoyed this post and do take some time to visit these fabulous ladies on Instagram who have kindly agreed to share their images with me for this blog post.
