There are some basics every girl needs and lucky for us basics are so in trend right now. Hi! It’s me, Pooja welcome back to my blog.
There is nothing as easy as throwing a pair of jeans on with a T-shirt but I want to show you how to make it look expensive. So make a note here are 5 items we all need in our wardrobe right now to make your basics look next level.
1. Basic White T-shirt
The ultimate basic item you need is a white T-shirt. I say get a few if you are clumsy like me. But this year your basic white tee is getting a little revamp – meet Muscle tee, her superpower is shoulder pads. It just makes your shoulders look instantly broader and I know how amazing that is especially if you are petite. If you already have broad shoulders, don’t worry I got you – just go for a muscle tee without the Shoulder pads. River Island and ASOS have some good options.
Zara have this gorgeous T shirt that is just worth having. I like the elasticated hem.
2. Mom Jeans
Let’s live a little ladies! Baggy ripped jeans are socially acceptable! Hooray! There are so many options out there some affordable some a bit expensive but which ever you go for it is a true steal.
Above shown is a nice pair from top shop . However if you prefer your jeans whole and not ripped then go for something similar to below.
3. Blazer
Just add a blazer on top of any outfit and it instantly elevate the look. No more borrowing a jacket from your man, you are the man! LOL
4. Black heels
I mean go with any type of black heels but just get them on your list. Heels instantly change your posture and the way you walk. I don’t know about you but i feel much more confident when i walk in my heels. Key here is to find a brand that is comfortable to wear and for me it has been Kurt Geiger for occasions and Dorothy Perkins for everyday wear. I swear by these!
5. Gold accessories
Gold accessories are so in right now that you need to get your hands on them! Think multi-layered chains and charms.
what are your go to basics?
