April marks the start of the holiday season in Crete, and I couldn’t have picked a better time for a week-long retreat at the breathtaking Grecotel Lux Me White Palace Resort. Known for its luxurious ambience and all-inclusive concept, this resort made our family spring getaway truly unforgettable.
In this post, I’ll share my personal experience, highlights of the resort, and why I believe this spot should be on everyone’s travel list when visiting Greece.
1. First Impressions: The Chic Mediterranean Aesthetic
The Grecotel Lux Me White Palace sets the tone for a luxurious holiday the moment you step in. The architecture is pure Mediterranean magic, with whitewashed walls and elegant open-plan spaces that exude modern sophistication. Whether you’re walking past the sea-facing villas or lounging by the pool, the design of the resort feels effortlessly chic and serene.
From the moment we arrived, I was charmed by the clean, minimalist aesthetic and the open-air design of Grecotel LuxMe White Palace. The whitewashed buildings gleamed against the blue sea and sky, a beautiful boho effect, perfect for the gram!
The staff was welcoming and made the check-in process smooth, setting the tone for the excellent service I’d receive throughout my stay. As soon as we stepped into the resort, it felt like a hidden oasis designed to melt away any stress.
2. The Rooms: A Blend of Comfort and Luxury
The resort offers a wide range of rooms and suites. We stayed in a room with sea views, and waking up to the sight of the shimmering Aegean Sea every morning was magical. The room was spacious, elegantly decorated with a soft colour palette, and featured modern amenities.
We stayed in one of the rooms in their Lux Me Yali collection and had the Lux me Yali all-inclusive package. We were upgraded and given a larger room upon arrival as we were celebrating a special occasion. I just want to say that the staff will go above and beyond straight from the time you arrive and when possible do a lot more than expected.
Here are some pictures of the Yali seafront suite with sharing pool.
Room Highlights:
- Spacious suite with direct views of the Aegean.
- Plush king-sized bed and a cozy seating area.
- Luxurious bathroom with a rain shower and premium toiletries.
- Thoughtful touches like complimentary wine and snacks that truly made the stay feel personalized.
