Web Architecture Project | Guide Dogs
I am currently working on the web architecture project at Guide Dogs where we are preparing to migrate the website to another CMS. It’s a large-scale and ongoing piece of work that involves rethinking how our content is structured and delivered.
I’m part of the core working group helping shape the new information architecture, ensuring it supports both user needs and business goals. I work closely with content owners and SEO team to map existing journeys and identify gaps or redundancies.
As part of the prep for migration, I audit and refine current content and page structures, contributing to decisions around taxonomy, navigation, and templates. I’m also involved in prototyping new layouts and working through accessibility, SEO, and UX considerations to make sure the new site structure works well for all users including people with vision impairment.
We’re aiming for a smoother, more intuitive user experience across the new CMS, and I’m excited to see how this transformation will improve how people interact with our services online.
